I’m originally from Houston, my husband, Honolulu. We met in San Francisco where I worked at a small café/event space. Time spent at this café was where we got to know each other. Where we got to meet our neighbors and forge lasting friendships. We ultimately got married in that café. Since then, the dream has been to open a place to share that same sense of belonging. We finally found it right around the corner from where we now call home, in Harlem.
